CURRY

and the mega big three of the Golden State Warriors

After two years missing out on the playoffs, the Warriors are back in the Finals, their sixth in eight years and first back in San Francisco.

A dynasty dominating their Conference: they've won 18 playoff series in a row, something only the 1959-67 Celtics managed.

The big three of Stephen Curry-Klay Thompson-Draymond Green are in the elite, once again with Durant.

For players with at least 100 playoff games they have the highest win percentage: 70.5% Green and Klay, 69.5% Curry.

Curry has won 21 of the 25 series he's played: 84%. Better than Jordan, Bird, LeBron, Kareem, Magic Johnson...

He's the eighth player named MVP more than once having played at least six Finals. He joins Russell, Chamberlain, LeBron, Jordan, Duncan...

With coach Steve Kerr, the Warriors have won 21 out of 23 series. And are the first team to record at least one road win in 26 consecutive series.

Klay is adding to his legend: he came back in January after two years out with torn ligaments and a ruptured achilles tendon...

The shooting guard spent 941 days off the court. 137 days after his return he stunned the Mavericks with 32 points and 3 triples.

With that exhibition in game 6, he became the first player to shoot at least 8 triples in 5 playoff games.

Before this golden era the Warriors had only won one playoff series between 1991 and 2009, the year Curry joined.

The 75th anniversary of the NBA could see the team who won the first title - in 1947 as the Philadelphia Warriors - crowned champions again.

In playoffs the Warriors are 9-0 at home. They'll earn $100 million from their home games: tickets, food & beverages...
