DAVANTE ADAMS

makes no mention of

AARON RODGERS

in farewell post

Davante Adams was traded from the Green Bay Packers to the Las Vegas Raiders last week.

As is the trend, Adams left a lengthy farewell post to his former team on Instagram.

The weird thing is, he left out someone kind of important…

Adams was Aaron Rodgers’ primary target over the last 6 years as Adams became an elite wide receiver in the NFL.

The two connected for 68 TDs in 8 seasons, the most prolific TD combo in Packers history.

Back in December, Rodgers called Adams the best player he’s ever played with, in his 17 seasons in the NFL.

There was a lot of uncertainty about whether Rodgers would stay with the Packers or not, before it was finally announced he would, and as the highest-paid QB in the NFL.

Two days later, Adams officially announced he’s chosen to play in Las Vegas with his former college QB instead, Derek Carr.

Apparently Rodgers was aware that this trade would happen even before he made his decision to stay, which of course, resulted in social media backlash of the new QB people love to hate.

Leaving Rodgers’ out of his farewell post just adds fuel to the fire. Maybe he was tired of the drama. The Packers did match the Raiders’ offer for Adams, but maybe it was too late.

It’s also possible Adams just wanted to head back to Las Vegas and play with his Mountain West Championship compatriot, and nothing more.

But I don’t see mention of Adams in Rodgers’ Panchakarma cleanse gratitude post either, so…make of this what you will.

BRADY'S BACK!

In fact, he never went away…
