At 15, Kylian Mbappé's brother has already played for PSG's first team
THE YOUNGER
Kylian Mbappé’s younger brother, Ethan, made his first appearance for PSG’s first team in December. He’s 15 years old and has bags of potential.
The midfielder was given game time in PSG’s friendly against Paris FC, which saw Christophe Galtier’s men run out 2-1 winners.
A string puller-in-chief who takes great care of the ball with his wand of a left foot, Ethan's playing style has drawn comparisons with Sergio Busquets.
For a player of his age, he has incredible vision. He always chooses the right pass and sets up plenty of goals with his threaded through balls.
Ethan has appeared five times in the UEFA Youth league - for a total of 225 minutes - and has supplied two assists in the competition.
He should be playing at U17 level, but has spent the last few months with the U19s. He’s brimming with talent and is causing great excitement in France.
PSG U19s coach Zoumana Camara: “He’s a lad who works really hard, with lots of energy and quality on the ball. Sometimes he’s too aggressive; he needs to learn to control that.”
“I know he’s an Mbappé, but he’s just one of the lads here. I’ve worked with his brother, and sometimes his face reminds me of Kylian. But he doesn’t get special treatment.”
Will Ethan, who is currently under contract at PSG until 2024, become a world star like his older brother?
