PULISIC

The Rossoneri are eager to sign the USMNT star

SET FOR MILAN

Wholesale changes are underway at Chelsea following Mauricio  Pochettino’s appointment as boss. So far, eight players have departed.

Christian Pulisic looks like being the next to go. The American, who has been at the club for four seasons,  was a bit-part player last term.

Pulisic only managed around  1,000 minutes of game time over  the course of the season, scoring  once and supplying two assists.

Italians AC Milan are pushing hard  to sign the 24-year-old, who is reportedly due for a medical with  the Rossoneri on Wednesday.

Pulisic is keen on a move to Serie  A. Indeed, the winger has turned  down a switch to Lyon despite the Ligue 1 club offering more money.

The USMNT international has a reputation as a player who takes very good care of the ball. He completes 94% of the passes he attempts.

Pulisic is a huge star in the United States. He’s the sixth-highest scorer  in the national team’s history, with  25 goals in 60 appearances.

Firmly established as the USMNT’s main man, he became the side’s youngest ever scorer when he netted for the Stars and Stripes at just 17.

In 2026, the US is to co-host the  World Cup - and for ‘Captain America’, the tournament is his chance to shine on home soil on the global stage.

Chelsea and Pulisic both stand to  gain from a summer transfer. The  Blues will free up squad space, and  the player can get more game time.
