He's unhappy at PSG and wants to leave  the club as soon as possible

WANTS OUT

The Kylian Mbappé saga is never-ending. According to Le Parisien, he wants to leave PSG and the club are considering whether to sell him.

Loic Tanzi, a well-connected  journalist who covers PSG, says the striker wants a move from the Parc des Princes as soon as possible.

In the summer, Mbappé renewed his PSG deal until 2025 after rejecting a Real Madrid move. Five months on, he regrets staying in Paris.

He feels his wishes haven’t been met: Neymar wasn’t sold, he doesn’t want to play at No. 9, and stars like Tchouaméni and Lewandowski weren’t brought in.

In Paris, a January move is viewed as far from straightforward. Mid-season blockbuster transfers are rare. But a post-World Cup exit could make sense.

“Mbappé hasn’t said anything to me about leaving,” PSG football advisor Luis Campos insisted this week.  “I deny the reports.”

If a January move did happen, Campos and head coach Christophe Galtier would also leave. They both have a good rapport with Mbappé.

Mbappé feels betrayed, but where could he go? After what happened in the summer, Real Madrid and PSG are in no rush to sit down and negotiate.

Their relationship has eroded.  Reports in France say PSG would only sell to Liverpool. The club value Mbappé at €300m ($292m).

Mbappé, though, has always dreamed of playing for Madrid. He’d only want to go there. But in August, he broke his word and turned the club down.

That didn't go down well with Madrid bosses and players. What's more, his presence could upset the healthy dressing-room atmosphere at the club.

Meanwhile, Mbappé has become  PSG’s all-time highest Champions League scorer, with 31 goals. He continues to do what he does best.

If he wants to make a Real Madrid move happen, he’s going to have to say sorry. It’s a complex situation, but the player isn’t happy in Paris.
