The Tour de France starts July 1 in Copenhagen, Denmark and there are 7 Americans competing this year, including 4 rookies.
27-year-old Sepp Kuss, a stage winner in last year's competition, will be riding his third Tour for Jumbo-Visma.

Joe Dombrowski is an American climber, competing in the Tour de France for the first time at 31 years old for Astana.

Matteo Jorgenson will also be competing for the first time in the tour and joins Movistar, a mainly Spanish team of riders.

Quinn Simmons is the youngest rider in the tour, just barely 21 years old. He and his Trek-Segafredo teammates are looking for stage wins.
