OUT-OF-CONTRACT

Introducing our

ALL-STAR XI

A number of top players are  available on a free this summer

Out of contract in the summer, a number of highly experienced, top-level players head into 2023 with  their futures up in the air.

The Spanish keeper has been at United since 2011. He’s enjoying a good period of form, and could well stay on at Old Trafford.

DAVID DE GEA

(Goalkeeper - Man United)

Full-back Alonso arrived as a short-term defensive solution this summer. He’s getting more game time as a makeshift centre-back.

MARCOS ALONSO

(Defender - Barcelona)

Martínez is out injured and it’s unclear when he’ll return. He appears to be eyeing a move, with clubs like Barça linked to the defender.

IÑIGO MARTÍNEZ

(Defender - Athletic Club)

The Inter Milan and Slovakia defender is worth €60 million, and would be a good fit for a whole host of major European clubs.

MILAN SKRINIAR

(Defender - Inter Milan)

After enduring an unsuccessful  spell at Barcelona, Semedo is an important player at Wolves. He could well renew at Molineux.

NELSON SEMEDO

(Defender - Wolves)

Kanté has been out injured in recent months, and his future is in doubt. He’s close to renewing, but Barça are also out to lure him to LaLiga.

N'GOLO KANTÉ

(Midfielder - Chelsea)

Kroos retired from Germany duty in 2021 to focus on Real Madrid - and there’s talk he could hang up his boots altogether this summer.

TONI KROOS

(Midfielder - Real Madrid)

Modric is 37, but still has plenty to give. So far, he’s had good luck with injuries. He’s earned the right to choose whether he stays or goes.

LUKA MODRIC

(Midfielder - Real Madrid)

Germany’s future. At 18, he’s already firing in the goals in the Bundesliga, and Barça are after him. Dortmund are ready to treble his wages.

Y. MOUKOKO

(Forward - B. Dortmund)

Benzema has struggled since winning the Ballon d’Or, his injury issues causing him to miss the World Cup. There are doubts over his future.

KARIM BENZEMA

(Forward - Real Madrid)

Messi remains the best there is,  but is he still motivated after winning the World Cup? It looks like he’ll renew at PSG in 2023.
