DEBUT
Sergio Giménez
Endrick Felipe’s start to life at Real Madrid has been one of the most positive aspects of the opening stages of the Spanish club’s season.
Something of a specialist at scoring on his debuts, the 18-year-old has netted twice for Madrid in just 50 minutes of game time so far this term.
In LaLiga, Endrick made his first Madrid appearance against Valladolid in August, and took just 10 minutes to open his account for Los Blancos.
Four LaLiga games later, he may not have scored against Espanyol - but he did win a contentious late penalty, which Kylian Mbappé converted.
And in the Champions League, Endrick also made a scoring debut for Madrid. The Brazilian finished off a stoppage-time break to clinch a 3-1 victory.
Before arriving in Spain, Endrick had already made a habit of netting on debut. He did so in several club and national-team competitions.
In his first run-out in the Campeonato Paulista knockout stages, he scored for Palmeiras seven minutes after coming on in the final against Água Santa.
And on his debut for Brazil Under-17s, Endrick needed just three minutes to find the back of the net, scoring in the Seleçao’s 4-0 demolition of Mexico.
He didn’t score until his third cap for Brazil’s seniors, but it only took him 35 minutes of total game time. And he chose the ideal stage…
Seven minutes after being introduced against England at Wembley, the teenager grabbed the winner in a 1-0 friendly victory for the visitors.
