Released in the US on 3 May 2024,  The Fall Guy features major Hollywood names, OTT action sequences, and high-speed car chases.

MOVIES

An outstanding movie that’s bags of fun, the David Leitch picture is all  about the stunt performers who  risk life and limb on film sets.

Ryan Gosling stars as a stunt double who, after an accident during filming, walks away from his career and isolates himself from the world.

Gosling’s character, Colt Seavers,  only returns to the job as a favour to  his ex, Emily Blunt’s Jody Moreno,  who is directing her first film.

For two hours, viewers of The Fall Guy will be highly entertained by a  picture packed with humour, romance, action and film references.

Meanwhile, one of the best recent TV releases is The Curse, a black comedy that takes aim at greenwashing, influencers and reality shows.

SERIES

Starring Nathan Fielder and Oscar winner Emma Stone, the Showtime series tells the story of a young couple who use reality TV to sell eco-houses.

Behind Fielder and Stones’ façade of happiness and good vibes are two individuals far removed from the  image they give off in public. 

The Court of Owls, in which a secret society of powerful people comes up against Batman, is the best comic about the superhero in the past 15 years.

COMICS

Batman is tasked with finding out which Gotham individuals are part  of the society, and with foiling his adversaries’ murderous attacks.
